Hi there. I just want you to know that I am offended by what you have posted
here. I am a Christian. and might I add just because the WORD OF GOD was
written by man does not mean its not HIS WORD. GOD speaks through people.
you may not hear him but may i ask you a question? can you see the wind?
no, but you know its there. now wind might not have anything to do with the
WORD OF GOD but its an analogies now if "Christians" try to change you from
your beliefs then you have to question weather or not they are truly
Christians. a Christian would not force anything on anyone. They would simply
tell you the plan of salvation and leave it at that. the same with you. You
shouldn't gear anything on this page towards trying to change a Christians
heart. Thetas wrong. You should respect how theory beliefs. I respect
yours so I expect you to respect mine. Thank you.

love in Christ,

(NAME WITHHELD)

Dear friend
The material contained on my site is not to serve the purpose of offending anyone. The
books, essays and articles you read are means to reason between Islam and Christianity, the differences
we both have, and why.
I'm assuming your specifically referring to the book "Is the Bible God's Word" (By Ahmed Deedat). The book
clearly shows that Christian scholars (not Muslim, Jewish or Hindu scholars whom you can easily accuse of bias) say that the Bible is Not the word of God. That is one aspect of the book, there is many more.
Yes, I agree with you. God does speak to men, via the Angel Gabriel in many cases, and men have written down the revelations of God. But it is the responsibility of man to preserve Gods writings. Unfortunately, the Bible has failed in many cases to do so. Hence why it suffers from many contradictions.
your analogy about the wind is very flawed in this context, if this is so, why can't we apply the same analogy to the Holy Qur'an (the Muslim Holy book). And also to the Hindu and Buddhist scriptures. It would now become easier for any faith to claim that their book is from God. Thus a criteria has to be established as to what can be rendered as God's Word or not. This applies to both the Qur'an and the Bible.
If Christians try to sincerely change me from my beliefs, I'll acknowledge that from their point of view, they are doing a noble deed. I think you should surf the web a bit, and see how many Christian sites target Muslims, no doubt you'll come across many.
Another point, you make it out as if my site forces Christians to come into the fold of Islam. Now, no website can do that. Also, with the sound arguments presented, the Christian is given the choice, to reflect on Islam and Christianity.
With all sincerity, I do respect yours and everyone else's beliefs, but dialoguing (or interfaith dialogue), in no way cancels out respect. Respecting, is different from belief. I in no way defame Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him), Christianity, or the Bible, nor would I ever post materials by scholars (whether Muslim, Christian or secularist) who attempt to do so. I merely through the God-given faculty of reason, bring various aspects of Christian theology into question. And you, like anyone else, are free to utilise your free will to either accept or reject the arguments presented.
If you would rather not choose a course of dogmatism. Then actually read the book or essay that is troubling you, then ask or argue with me a specific point(s) that you happen to be for or against it. And I will gladly reply.
Regards
Malik Ali
