Sincere apologies for the long absence of updates to the site. I have created a forum for the discussions to take place, as lately people have been using the guestbook as a bulltetin board. Which is not the purpose of a guestbook. Also I have implemented a search engine for the site as well as the ability to subscribe to the Jamaat.net mailing list. Also brother Ishaq placed ebooks on the site a while back.

Brother Ishaq Zaid and the Sabr Foundation, funded and assisted me with the URL and webspace for my site.
Sites under the Sabr Foundation  include
islam101.com
www.muhammad.net
and
www.barnabas.net
May Allah reward them tenfold for aiding me to get my site back on its feet. Their patience, perseverance and effort with me while I was getting my site back in order shall never be forgotten. And their supplication of a shorter URL for the site will please many who complained about the the dreaded longer URL of the former site.

The site essentially provides an Islamic overview of comparative religion, it utilises the most effective Dawah books, especially Sheikh Ahmed Deedats Literature, I have included all the commentaries. As well as adding a few commentaries that might help to clarify certain aspects of Sheikh Deedats arguments, or enhance it. My footnotes are marked clearly in red. I have published most of his books, and soon to finish off the rest.
A great concern that has worried me, is the deceptive tactics used by Christian Missionaries in propagating their faith. Preaching in good faith is one thing, utilising craftiness and deceit is another. And I feel an utter concern for my brothers and sisters for the greater need to strengthen their iman against such forces; by utilising some basic knowledge skills of dawah.

I have written up my own essays. If I have stated anything that is wrong in the articles, and it goes against the tenets of our deen , then I urge my Muslim brethren to email me the error. And give an explanation as to what and why it is wrong. And I'll rectify it immediately. Also if any Muslim who would like to submit a research essay or video/audio files to this site; it would be most welcome. As long as it serves the purpose of this site, and that is: Dawah.
To the Christian, much of what has been stated is based solely on the Bible. If you honestly feel, that something is wrong with the arguments presented. State in your email proving otherwise; and I'll reply to it within a week and I might also publish it (both letter and reply) on this site in the Letters section for the benefit of other readers to this site (name will be withheld if requested). Please make it specific, as generalisations are difficult to respond to.

It is possible that you might come across formatting problems, depending on your browser. Internet Explorer 4.x is recommended, also you can adjust formatting by changing the font size in your browser or by changing the screen settings in the display properties of your desktop.

In the mean time; I hope this site offers you a glimpse of the light of Islam. As Islam is not a new religion, it was the same faith practiced by all the Prophets and messengers of God. The thread of Islam weaves through the missions of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael, Moses, Jesus and Muhammed (Peace and blessings be upon them all). Judaism and Christianity had divine origins, and at this basis, the Unity of God is upheld.
The Creed of Islam is given to us here in a nutshell from the Holy Qur'an:

Say ye: "We believe in Allah,
And the revelation given to us,
And to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac,
Jacob, and the Tribes,
And that given to Moses and Jesus
And that given to (all)
Prophets from their Lord:
We make no difference
Between one and another of them:
And we submit to Allah (in Islam)."

(SURA BAQARA) Holy Qur'an 2:136.

The Muslim position is clear. The Muslim does not claim to have a religion peculiar to himself. Islam is not a sect or an ethnic religion. In its view all Religion is one, for the Truth is one. IT WAS THE SAME RELIGION PREACHED BY ALL THE EARLIER PROPHETS. (Holy Qur'an 42:13). It was the truth taught by all the inspired Books. In essence it amounts to a consciousness of the Will and Plan of God and a joyful submission to that Will and Plan. IF ANYONE WANTS A RELIGION OTHER THAN THAT, HE IS FALSE TO HIS OWN NATURE, AS HE IS FALSE TO GOD'S WILL AND PLAN. Such a one cannot expect guidance, for he has deliberately renounced guidance.
